Henderson\, a native of Gary\, Indiana\, is an Itinerant Elder\nin the African Methodist Episcopal Church who has been in ministry since\npreaching her initial sermon almost 30 years ago in the 4th Episcopal District of\nthe AME Church. Her work in ministry has focused on youth development\,\nChristian education\, leadership training\, and women’s empowerment. She has\nserved in various ministry roles\, including interim pastor of St. James AME\nChurch in Memphis\, TN; Associate Minister at Bethel AME Church in Kansas\nCity; and\, now\, proudly serves as Pastor of Grant Chapel AME Church in Kansas\nCity\, Kansas. \nProfessionally\, Rev. Dr. Henderson has over 30 years of experience in education\nand currently serves as Chief Program Officer for SchoolSmart KC\, supporting\nstudent growth and school success across Kansas City. She holds degrees from\nButler University\, Indiana University\, and Ball State University. \nShe is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority\, Incorporated\, and is\nengaged in civic and community leadership through board service and advisory\nroles with several education-focused organizations across Kansas City.\nPastor Robin\, as the members of Grant affectionately call her\, is committed to\nliving each day faithfully and unafraid in service to the Lord.
